The Role

As a member of the Custom Software team, working closely with the Marketing Manager and Business Development Manager you will be responsible for taking marketing qualified leads and converting these into sales qualified leads. You’ll receive training, use the latest sales technology and have lots of opportunity for development and career progression. 


Key Responsibilities 

  • You will nurture marketing driven leads to ensure these become qualified sales opportunities which you will then be responsible for closing   
  • Build a sales pipeline and achieve a monthly quota of qualified opportunities
  • Follow up on and qualify any sales opportunities, communicating relevant information clearly
  • Form and maintain strong relationships with new and existing prospects using telephone, email and online contact to nurture opportunities
  • Become an expert on the company’s products and be able to pitch them effectively to prospects and conduct online demonstrations of the product
  • Represent the company at conferences, meetings and industry events
  • Develop a strong industry knowledge to recognise opportunities
  • Preparing presentations, developing quotes and proposals
  • Work closely with marketing team on lead generation campaigns

The Candidate        

The ideal candidate for this position will be a highly driven and motivated individual with excellent communication skills.

Essentially you will have:

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to listen and engage effectively
  • Previous sales experience with a demonstratable track record of closing sales and achieving set targets
  • You will have a resilient nature with the ability to overcome objections
  • A good attitude towards teamwork and the ability to work well within a team
  • A disciplined approach to daily activity planning, setting goals, and documenting all activity in our software you will be open to receiving coaching and development 
  • The desire to meet and exceed measurable performance goals
  • Confidence to prospect and develop new sales leads
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Previous experience in HR software is desirable but not essential
  • Strong knowledge and experience of Social Media tools and using the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Driving licence
